The challenge
A family-owned supplier of steel and formwork had delivered materials to a residential project in New Cairo for two years. By 2023, the developer owed EGP 31 million in unpaid invoices and had stopped answering calls.
Two other firms had advised the owner to write most of it off: the contract was informal, some delivery notes were missing, and the developer had well-known lawyers.
Our approach
We rebuilt the paper trail, then made it cheaper for the developer to pay than to fight.
01
Rebuild the evidence
We matched WhatsApp messages, bank transfers and site photos to every delivery, closing the gaps in the paperwork within three weeks.
02
Secure the assets
We obtained a precautionary attachment over two of the developer’s unsold units, so a judgment would be worth something.
03
Negotiate from strength
With an independent expert report valuing the claim, we opened settlement talks and agreed full payment plus interest in two instalments.
Paid in full, with interest, without a final hearing.

In the client’s words
“Every other firm told us to write it off. Mariam’s team gave us a plan on one page and a fixed fee. We were paid in full before the final hearing.”
